My name is Nathan Seitz, and I am a technical animator, born and raised in Corvallis, OR. I have passion for art, drawing, video games, music, film, photography, and many various sports. If it involves putting this object in that hoop/goal/endzone, I probably like it.

My interest in animation began at a very early age with Saturday morning cartoons. My love for the art took a more serious turn with the releases of Final Fantasy VII for the Playstation, and Pixar's Toy Story. Both of these releases were formitive experiences for me, providing huge inspiration and drove me to begin teaching myself 3D and animation.

I eventually attended the University of Oregon's Digital Art program, followed by an intensive grad program for animation at Think Tank Training Centre in Vancouver, BC. I now live in Seattle, WA where I have been working in video games for about the last five and a half years. In my time in game development I have contributed in many avenues: Animation, rigging, tools creation, modeling, and even a small dabble in particle FX.

I am always looking to improve, and I feel fortunate that my chosen profession comes with no shortage of challenges and potential learning opportunities. As my animation mentor put it, "Its a lifetime of study."
